Objective:

Experience:
University of Houston, Houston, Texas. (January 2010-Present)
Studied the inter-relationship between change in sea-level, accommodation and sediments supply in hydrocarbon generation. Learnt the use of seismic, cores, well log and stratigraphic correlations in depositional environment reconstruction.
Used SMT Kingdom suite to generate synthetic seismic trace, time structure and horizon amplitude isopach map from seismic lines. Used Seismic 2-D hunt and time slice to explore for possible hydrocarbon reservoirs; prospect’s volumetric and risk analysis.

Carried out operations and maintenance of gas detection equipments, and other equipments used for operation.
Involved in rigging up and rigging down of mud logging unit before or after drilling operations.
Responsible for collection and analysis of rock samples for lithology
determination and evidence of prospective oil-or gas-bearing formations.
Identified pore pressure/geopressure, pay zones and logged them appropriately into the mud log and geopressure log.
Worked on vertical, directional and horizontal wells with most works done in South Texas, Gulf Coast and Shreveport, Louisiana areas.

Worked with operation crew that provided prompt and accurate geologic advice and services to drilling and production teams working on production of Oredo field and associated satellites, producing over 100,000 BOPD.
Provided geological supports needed in production forecasting, data management and preparation of reports.
Involved in running of combined Geographic Information System (GIS), well log and lithologic data into drilling management software to provide the needed pertinent precise information for optimized vertical and directional drilling through payzones.
Helped to create data package used in quarterly presentations of field performances to third partners and Government representatives.

Aqualog Geophysical Company, Lagos, Nigeria. (April 1995 – August 2002)
Position: Field Geologist
Carried out soil testing using penetrometer.
Advised borehole engineers in making decision on wells drilling using electrical resistivity via Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) within towns and villages in Ekiti State of Nigeria.
Maintained up-to-date records of site operations.
Advised civil engineers in making decision on structural constructions and repairs.
